Welcome! Grand Junction Queer and Ally Connection is a place for Allied family members, friends and LGBTQ+ members alike to come together for support, friendship, and connection. Our group was formerly a PFLAG chapter from years 2016-2019. Today our peer support group focuses on specialty events in Grand Junction and occasional support meetings to continue serving our community of allies and LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Nonbinary, Queer/Questioning, Pansexual, Asexual, etc) community along the western slope.
GJ Q&AC is not a program exclusively sponsored by any particular church or faith based community, although their support is encouraged. We are open to all persons without regard to their religious or social affiliations, race, gender, ethnic identity, or physical ability. Our group members abide by rules of confidentiality and non-coercive conversations during our meetings and other activities as we seek to provide local support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ persons and their families.
